通用測試聲學特性
防火紙纖棉在Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories實驗室進行聲音傳輸分類（STC）測試。
在全尺寸牆體測試中，防火紙纖棉可有效地減少房間與房間之間的空氣音源傳導。這非常有益於集合式住宅的隔音，如高級住宅、套房、辦公大樓、公寓、汽車旅館和旅館，尤其對於您的家庭居家安寧尤其重要。
一般尖銳高頻的聲音，很容易通過正常結構傳輸，而防火紙纖棉的特性，可增加阻絕高頻音源空氣傳導的功效；建築物隔音用防火紙纖棉可讓居住者感受到明顯“安靜”的感覺。

聲音傳輸控制（STC）[Sound transmission through a wall]]
每增加1/2英吋紙纖棉的厚度，將增加2 dB的平均計算值到表中的STC評級。
STC分貝評分均來自通用的測試數據來計算。
